Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Titans Infos (titansinfos.com) collects when you read this blog, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English, like everything else on this site.
Who we are
Titans Infos Blog is an independent blog published by the Titans Infos team at titansinfos.com. This policy covers this website only — not any other website you reach through links here.
Information we collect
Reading this blog does not require an account, and we do not ask you to register or log in. The information involved is:
- Information you give us directly — only if you contact us, for example by email. That means your email address and whatever you write in the message.
- Information collected automatically — when you visit, our hosting and advertising partners may receive standard technical data: your device type, browser, the pages you viewed, roughly where in the world you are connecting from (based on IP address), and the site you came from. This is the normal data any website visit generates.
- Cookies — small text files stored by your browser, explained in the next section.
Cookies
This site uses, or may use, the following kinds of cookies:
- Essential preferences — remembering display choices such as light or dark appearance, where the browser supports it.
- Analytics cookies — helping us understand which stories get read, so we know what to write more of. These measure visits in aggregate, not who you are.
- Advertising cookies — used by Google AdSense and other advertising partners to show ads, including ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites (see the next section).
- Affiliate cookies — set by merchants when you click an affiliate link, so they can tell the purchase came from this site (see “Affiliate links”).
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The blog will still work; ads may simply become less relevant to you.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This site is set up to carry advertising served by Google AdSense, and may work with other advertising partners; the ad spaces on the page are reserved for this. Once AdSense is approved and live, the following applies, in line with Google's requirements:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised ads at aboutads.info/choices.
- Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), ads are served in line with the consent choices presented to you.
Affiliate links
Some links on this blog are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the merchant may pay Titans Infos a small commission at no extra cost to you. Merchants and affiliate networks may use cookies to attribute the sale. Their handling of your information on their own sites is covered by their own privacy policies, not this one.
How we use information
- To run and improve this blog — understanding which stories readers value.
- To display advertising that keeps the blog free to read.
- To respond to you if you contact us.
- To keep the site secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not build profiles of individual readers ourselves.
Sharing
Technical visit data is processed by the services that make the site work — our hosting provider, advertising partners such as Google, and affiliate networks when you click their links. We would only disclose information beyond that if required by law or to protect the site and its readers from abuse.
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
- Opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Use your browser's “Do Not Track” or private-browsing features if you prefer not to be measured.
- If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
Children's privacy
This blog is written for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Data retention and security
Aggregate analytics and advertising data are kept by those providers under their own retention policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message. We use reasonable technical measures to protect the site, but no website can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, when AdSense goes live or a new partner is added — we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
